Wintering into Wholeness
Love this quote from Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Braiding Sweetgrass:
“If grief can be a doorway to love, then let us all weep for the world we are breaking apart so we can love it back to wholeness again.”
It seems to me that this applies to our individual human lives as well - we can grieve for the parts of ourselves that have been scattered, rejected, ignored by others… by ourselves…. We can welcome them back into our awareness. We can love ourselves back to wholeness again.
How are you loving yourself back to wholeness? How are you loving the world back to wholeness?
